About Franic Contruction
Our company was set-up in 1993 by Francis McGee after building a wealth of experience working in London, Germany and Belgium. The business started as a carpentry business contracting for some of Irelands leading property developers, Cosgrage, Mcinerney and Ballymoe properties.
From those beginnings we evolved our business to cover the development of Sunrooms, Extensions and One-off housing. We rapidly developed a reputation for quality and became very successful in domestic residential developments.
Our company formed Meadow Bank developments, which developed some of Meath’s most prestigious estates including Foxbrook on the Carragha road in Ratoath and more recently Lismeeh Hills in Ballyjamesduff.

"We selected Franic Construction Ltd through a competitive tendering process to build our new home in Castleknock village and it was one of the best decisions we ever made.
We had a tight budget and project time line from green field site to a full turnkey 3000 sqf home. The project came in on time and budget. End to end our home was built within 4 months. The project specifications and finishes were very demanding, all materials had to conform to Irish Agreement Board (TAB) and National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) requirements and be future proofed to meet EU Directives. This included insulated concrete formwork (ICF) construction, triple glazed low u value window systems, latest pluming and solar systems, with lots of open plan areas requiring substantial steel work and very high finishes including marble tiling throughout downstairs, raised architraves, ceilings and much more.

No one enjoys having the builders in, but Franci McGee and his team made our project as painless as it could be. Needless to say the project was completed on time (in fact about a week early) and within budget.
